Option 2: Welcome Meeting Welcome to the team. We are here because employees from the billing department are not receiving the accurate codes and information needed for data entry. Their simple data entry errors are slowing production and payment for the doctor. As head of the billing department, I am leading you in a problem-solving team to resolve this issue. Communication skills needed The most important and fundamental aspect of teamwork is communication. Communication in a team setting means creating an environment in which every team member feels encouraged and supported to say what he or she think, so that all good ideas are shared and on the table. We also need to ensure that we listen closely to what other people are saying, taking into account dissenting opinions.
